Unique
Approach
Naturopathic medicine is a distinctive approach to health and healing
that stimulates and supports the mind and bodys natural ability
to maintain and restore health. The success of the naturopathic
system is based on the recognition of the uniqueness of each individual
and the integrity of the whole person. Dr. Cooper's approach to
treatment derives from the belief that, just as no two people look
exactly alike, none of us has exactly the same set of genes or will
react in exactly the same way to our environment. Therefore, his
first step is a thorough understanding of a patients medical
history, lifestyle and environment.
Dr. Cooper treats patients with a combination of botanical medicine,
nutrition, lifestyle modification, dietary supplements, homeopathy,
hydrotherapy, naturopathic manipulation and counseling, combining
therapies and varying each treatment to reflect the patients
uniqueness.
Dr. Coopers extensive training has prepared him to treat
a full range of diseases and disorders. His practice offers
counseling on wellness and preventive medicine, and treatment for
asthma and allergies, rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune
diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease,
gastrointestinal disturbances, osteoporosis, and co-treatment of
cancer with supportive therapies.
Additionally, Dr. Cooper offers special approaches to womens
health needs, childhood chronic illnesses, learning and behavioral
disorders, stress management, fertility, and musculo-skeletal disorders,
including the treatment of chronic pain.
Natural Health and Wellness provides access to complete naturopathic
care, but Dr. Cooper will also work with traditional healthcare
practitioners to provide co-treatment to patients who are already
under care.
