Unique
Approach
Naturopathic medicine is a distinctive approach to health and healing
that stimulates and supports the mind and bodys natural ability
to maintain and restore health. It recognizes each individual's uniqueness
and the integrity of the whole person. Just as no two people look
exactly alike, none of us have the same set of genes. It follows that each person may
react differently to the same set of environmental conditions. To help understand this uniqueness Dr Cooper's
first step is a thorough understanding of a patients medical
history, lifestyle and environment.
Patients are treated with one or more of the following modalities: botanical medicine, acupuncture, Auricular Medicine, CranioSacral,
nutrition, lifestyle modification, dietary supplements, homeopathy,
hydrotherapy, naturopathic manipulation and counseling.
Dr. Coopers extensive training has prepared him to treat
a full range of diseases and disorders. His focus is on
pain management; digestive problems;
chemical and heavy metal detoxification; inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematous, multiple sclerosis, hypo/hyperthyroid conditions, Sjogren's, colitis and Crohn's; diabetes and metabolic syndrome; excessve weight gain; mood disorders; and special approaches to childhood chronic illnesses and learning/ behavioral
disorders.
Natural Health and Wellness can offer complete naturopathic
care, but Dr. Cooper will also co-treat with other providers.
